March has come and gone so fast! Will is growing and changing everyday. We are enjoying his smiles and are excited to see that he is getting very close to laughing! We weighed him the other day and he was a hefty 14.1 lbs! He enjoys standing and playing with mom and dad, tubby time, and getting his diaper changed. Oh, and did I mention he loves eating as well! He has found his little tongue and licks everything in front of his face and is also enjoying sticking his fist in his mouth.

We spent this last weekend down in Vegas for my cousin's wedding. We were shocked at how well Will did in the car! Really shocked actually! He is quite the spoiled little guy when it comes to always being held. But he was good in the car on the way down and back. He even watched Finding Nemo for a half an hour! (well, he stared at the colorful screen and enjoyed the sound) On the way home after we stopped in Cedar City he ended up sleeping the entire way home after that. Some of you may say big deal, my 2 and a 1/2 month old can do that too.....but for Will it was a big deal considering that during the day he won't take a nap and stay asleep unless I am holding him! This is something that I am working on changing but it has been a struggle. During the night he does fine, but the day is a totally different story! The only reason that I even have a second to post right now is because I have put him down and am letting him try to cry himself to sleep. I have to admit it really is torture. I keep watching the clock trying to decide how long I will let him cry. It is nice to know that he just likes to have his mom close during the day, but I really need to be able to get some things done while he is sleeping....like taking a shower or something before 6pm!!! Besides all of the that, Vegas was so nice and warm. It was also fun to see cousins and be with family. It was my first time in the Vegas temple, and it too like all the rest of them was beautiful. Coleman and his bride Mandy were a beautiful couple! Alex was such a great husband, and stayed with Will at the hotel for bedtime and nap time so that I could attend the wedding dinner and temple ceremony. I can't tell you how many times he said to me " don't worry, I got it, you just enjoy yourself!" I really couldn't do it all without him! It was sad to drive back home to Utah stormy weather! Here are some photos of him in the car watching Finding Nemo and also smiling for Grandpa Great, while waiting to go to the Reception!

A few weeks back I was able to visit and have lunch with my friend Aubree Cooper while she was in town. Will was able to meet a new little friend. Henry was born just a week before Will. It was fun to visit and take some pictures of our kids together! Henry was so nice and clam while Will was kind of all over the place. As you can see by these photos I believe Henry was a little perplexed as to why he was woken up and who was this wild child sitting next to him!
And to finish of the news and updates, Alex's younger brother Michael also received his mission call last Wednesday! He will be going to the Dallas, Texas, Spanish- speaking mission!! He will be leaving he beginning of June. We are so excited for him as well as proud of him for making the sacrifice to serve the Lord!

Oh and I guess that both Alex and I became one year older and wiser on the 23rd this month! Our special day just seemed to blend into all of the others as it seems to do when you get older! But Alex was sure to spoil me and we did make it out to dinner a few days later!
